External USB HDD won't show on "My Computer"

I've put an old SATA drive in an external USB enclosure. When i first plugged it in it was identified as new hardware and was installed ok. Now i can't use the drive (not showing up in My Computer) It is showing though in Device Manager under Disk Drives.


Any ideas.......

Take a look in Disk Management - right click on My Computer, pick Manage then Disk Management from the left hand tree in the new window.

The drive should appear in there as either unallocated space which will need partitioned and formatted or possibly as a foreign dynamic disk which just needs imported into the current system.
