Extra 8 pin on the bottom of the motherboard

ordered a replacement motherboard as the one I had was a little "light" on some features, but the one im looking at has another 8-pin on the bottom of it??

what's that for? more CPU power or what??

the motherboard in question is the MSI PRO 850-P WIFI motherboard.
