Extra Load tyres vs Normal

Bit random..

My C2 VTS says the front tyres should be 35 PSI for all load types, but everyone online says they ignore it and just use 30-32 PSI (usually what the garages fit the tyres too also). Are they plonkers and I should stick to the 35 PSI?

with out knowing your tyre size....

i would go with 30-32, unless you are are carrying a lot people or weight

195/45/16. I just don't get it because on the door sticker it days 2.4bar (35 PSI) for light and heavy loads.

You'll probably find they already have XL tyres. My Mondeo is 1800kg and XLs are all I can get.

I have never been happy with front tyres on any car I've had. They always look flat when they are not. Even brand new tyres seem to go like it after only a couple weeks of use. Would love to know how to solve this as need some new tyres soon on my accord petrol estate.

Get a car then needs less than 50 profile tyres

. More sidewall means more bulge.

Not so. I see 4x4s with no tyre bulge yet mine look flat. And they are fairly low profile my current car on 17's. Not sure exactly the size and dont fance walking outside to check.
