I have an Leadtek 6800NU - which has a great cooler on it, it just doesn't push the air out of the case!

If I put one of them Akasa extraction case fan things under it, will that work?

I'm not sure what way the leadtek fan blows (ie. whether that fan is blowing air out and away from the GPU, or intaking air onto it).

Thanks in Advance!

My MSI sucks air thru the heatsink and blows it away towards the PCI slots, just feel with your hand when the computer is on.

You can use an extraction fan below the videocard if the card is blowing down but beware that those card are not really efficient and the difference might be very small.

Hi there Nikolic, i have a BFG 7800GT OC with one of those Akasa extracter fans fitted into the next but one slot below it. My graphics card doesn't seem to get very hot, around 60C - 65C maximum, but having the extracter doesn't seem to do any harm. Hope this helps.

I use mine under my card, got a zalman on the aswell so once the zalman blows air over the card the extractor exhausts it... in theory.
