I have a lovely extractor fan for my new kitchen, but it will need new ducting to be run to the outside which means running new pipework under the floorboards in the master bedroom.
Currently I have an old, knackered external grill which I want to swap out for one of these. The ducting needs to go straight up through the kitchen ceiling, bend 90° right and then exit to the outside through the space between joists in the master bedroom, in a relatively straight line to the wall.
Should I be using flexible ducting for this or go with plastic pipe? What other bits and pieces will I need to get the job done properly?
