We've had dates for the events this year

Saudi Arabia: 11-12 March 2023 - Saudi will be on the beach this year, pretty much where some of the NEOM games were held back end of last year.
Scotland, UK: 13-14 May 2023 - Joy, so much for the 'Warm & Dusty World Tour"...
Sardinia, Italy: 08-09 July 2023 - Probably the same place as the last 2 years, tank testing range near Sant'Anna Arresi, we know where the best eating places are as we've been before.
Amazon or USA: 16-17 September 2023 - Rainforest or Montana (Rumour)
Chile 02-03: December 2023 - Antafagosta Copper Mine same as last year..

I've heard they're changing the racing for this season, each event will be a double header, so 10 'events' as such, will see what other format changes they make.
 
New race format has been confirmed.

Olly Bennets Xite Team has now dropped out and we have Carl Cox Motorsport taking their place.
No sign of the new team that was meant to be coming from NZ/Oz or somewhere out that way..

Given we're flying out to Saudi tomorrow and the teams are arriving on the 8th, the fact some of them haven't even published their driver's yet makes you wonder..

So, back from Sandi Arabia, The Warm & Dusty World Tour '23 has commenced..
Right on the Red Sea, view was pretty good tbh, beach pretty clean as well which is good compared to some places we've been..
Few new faces, but pretty much business as usual..

Looks like the rumour about the calendar change was right though, looks like Chile for event 4 is now moved to event 5, event 4 will most likely be somewhere else warm and dusty....

Scotland next though, disused mine, should be a busy one though as we haven't had the kit back to us for service since it went out at the start of season 1, things to be swapped out, serviced etc. and we might put our new car radios in the Odysseys.
 
Well looks like we're going back to Scotland again, starting to become a bit repetitive..
We did Chile again at the end of last year, Saudi at the beginning of this, at least there its a different place in Saudi everytime, Scotland again, same place, Sardinia for 2x double headers, same place, then, if it actually happens we're going to Phoenix at the end of the year..

Sardinia in Septembers gonna be a long one, they're having 2 races on 2 weekends and in the middle of the week between the 2 weekends they're running the new Extreme-H car for testing for next year when Extreme-E becomes Extreme-H, where no doubt the first race will be in Saudi and we'll end up going to Sardinia at some point...
 
Good wins for Veloce today.
Big off for Klara though, after she'd crossed the finish line, amazingly the car wasn't damaged beyond repair and Klara was fine so went back out again after the car had been fixed.
Up early again tomorrow to do it all over again...
 
Finally they've released it..

Rest of the season cancelled, no more Extreme-E, they're ramping up for next years Extreme-H, which will start, probably, some point in April (I'm being told after Ramadan)..
The release says they're looking at how to close off the season, but we're being told that our kits coming back soon to not sure how they'll run any event without our kit being there....

Ho hum, time for an Extreme-H thread lol
