Extreme expected SSD lifepsan?

Decided to open SSD life today just to check how things were on the SSD. Last time I checked was about 2 months ago, with estimated remaining life time being 7 years, 9 months or something like that. But now it says...

That can't be right can it? :confused: Also can't seem to check the S.M.A.R.T. data, no matter what browser I set as default, it just doesn't open.

Yup. I even jumped to the latest version.

EDIT: Decided to try reinstall again, this time I went into program files to ensure it was gone. Then installed and now it reports 8 years and 7 months... that's more like it :). Made me think I had a super SSD or something then...

S.M.A.R.T. button still doesn't work however.

somethings not right,asyou cant read the smart data,there shouldnt be any issues reading m4 drive,maybe with an unknown named ssd
 
OK, after googling around it seems a few others are also reporting the SMART button not working. Same thing happens, it sends the data to a server, but the browser doesn't open up to see the report. So I'm assuming it's something to do with their servers then...

Thanks for the help Wazza, at least SSDLife is reporting the correct estimated lifespan now :rolleyes:.
