Hi Guys,
There seems to be a lot of AMD know-how here so I thought I would try for some help. I have just rebuillt my rig after my G1 Sniper 5 mainboard died
and am now using the Gigabyte Z97x Gaming GT mainboard. I went for this board because I have a custom pedestal desk build with a dual R290 watercooled setup and it has the same physical PCIe layout.
My cards drive 3 1080p monitors via 2DVI and 1HDMI cables. Everything was working absolutely fine before with the latest Omega14.12 drivers.
I cannot get Eyefinity working on the new rig. All three monitors are detected and displayed. Catalyst control allows me to run through the setup procedure but when the settings are being saved, the window keeps flashing. Killing the process works and the rest of the system is stable, but rebooting just gives blank screens (OS is loaded, Windows welcome sound plays, but no video). If I pull the HDMI out, the other two displays usually reconfigure then the whole game starts again.
My initial thoughts are that it is some conflict with the integrated graphics and disabling them in the BIOS has saved me from several previous BSOD.
OS is an absolutely clean install of Win 7 Pro with all patches applied, but I am now running out of ideas.
Looking through this thread it seems that I may want to get the integrated graphics working as well at some point in the future because my desk is right next to my TV and it would be good to get that working too.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
