Eyefinity Display! - MD230

I have 3 monitor eyefinity setup and have decided that it doesn't really matter how thin the bezel gets, if its there you will see it.

Not worth the ridiculous price tag imho.

why aren't they developing monitor glasses that mimics head movement. Rather than a massive wall of monitors.

The resolution on such a small "screen" would probably not give great results in games with high amounts of visual detail, also it'd be hard to plug a DVI cable in. :D

Hmmm, very expensive. BUT if the res is correct:
Still, the MD230 is pretty wild, with six-screen or three-screen configurations retailing for $3,099 and $1,899 respectively, with each screen running at 2560 x 1600 for a total of 12x the resolution of 1080p
Each of the subscreens has the same res as a 30" screen like the Dell. Considering those are about £900 each, even if it works out as £1899 for the 3 screen version, it's MUCH cheaper than buying the monitors solo, and at least colour reproduction is going to be the same as you're using 3 identical model screens.

Crazy stuff though...that's true geek/enthusiast/incredibly-well-off kit there.

$1899 for three not pounds so about £400 each which considering the resolution of the screen is not a bad price tbh.

Wow, has 2560x1600 finally become affordable? :D

If so there's more to these screens than just thin bezels.

edit: 2nd link says 1080p? Also, they're superglued together or something?

I know it was $ not £, what I meant was it was cheaper than buying 3 2560 monitors even if they do do the 1:1 conversion trick.
TBH we'll have to wait and see whether that was a misprint anyway, as it seems different resolutions are mentioned in different places.
