eyefinity set up

They should work no problem, i did the same a few weeks ago but with 3 samsungs and so far im loving it. I have had a few minor issues here and there with menus in some games etc but overall its been a lot of fun playing f1 with eyefinity and a steering wheel :).

For eyefinity to work, do all monitors need to be the same??

I currently have a 23" WS HannsG monitor @ 1680*1050 and can get hold of a couple of 19" 4:3 monitors @ 1280*1024 that I was thinking of putting either side of the main monitor.

Will that setup work, or not because they are 2 different aspect ratios?
Or will the resolutions being different screw everything up anyway?

Oh, and I presume that eyefinity is an ATI only thing?
Can you do anything similar on Nvidia cards? Only looking at the possibilty of 3 screens maximum and considering my gfx upgrade options currently. Don't want to end up buying a card that wont do what I want.

It's not possible (with Eyefinity at least) to run 3 monitors with different resolutions, there's a program called SoftTH that can do it but it seems to be far more fiddly to get right.

To the OP, that should work nicely, I recently did similar with some Samsung monitors and had no issues (or at least none related to the Eyefinity bit, some games are crap and don't support it properly but not much that can be done about that...)
