Eyefinity Set Up

Hey guys, i recently decided that im going to go for a 3 screen eyefinity set up. Problem is the current monitor i have which i adore is a LG L227WT-PF these are no longer obtainable and i don't know what other monitors i should purchase to go with this monitor. My current monitors natural res is 1680x1050, if anyone could help me decide on how to sort this problem then i would be thankful.

p.s. i have a XFX HD6850 GFX Card. (if you're wondering)

1680x1050 monitors are getting a bit rare nowadays, you could try to source some second hand ones but i think the best bet is to keep all 3 the same make and model and avoid differnt screen tone and colours

I'm not sure if the 6850 has enough backbone to manage a good framerate across all three monitors though

Hi ive seen loads of people using the 5870 for 3 22Inch monitors and managing fine. My Graphics card is the XFX 6850 Black Edition which is close to the same rates as the standard 6870.

As for monitors, would it be worthwhile hunting down the same make/model or buying similar sized/contrast monitors?

I would look for the same make and model, if your looking at 3 screens with all different shades and colours its going to spoil the effect

yup go for same monitor, will cause extra isues if you have monitors with different resolutions etc. also keeps left and right bezel same thickness/colour etc.
