Hi guys,

Just setup my eyefinity setup on my 5850, even tho some people said it would have issues with performance, however shocked as ever it plays blackops in *full* settings at 5760x1080!

However, don't like having my desktop as one display.

Is there anyway I can just make it eyefinity for games? and each screen as individual for desktop if that makes sense?

Make an eyefinity group & then save the Profile & call it Eyefinity & you can use the right click on the CCC icon on the tool bar to activate it or assign a hotkey combo as well if you like and do the same again & make a extended desktop profile.

Correct me if I am wrong, but for some reason under "creating and arranging desktops" it will only let me make one group - Am i doing something wrong?

yep its not very clear with instructions on how to do it, i had to play about untill i got it to work for me, now i have two profiles eyefinity and extended
 
just rememberd what i did, with eyefinity i just created a profile and saved it i then disabled eyefinity and created a extended desktop, this took some time as i did not realy know what i was doing but when sorted just saved profile as desktop
 
If i disable eyefinity ie disable the group it deletes the eyefinity group and then im back at stage one, any pointers :(
 
yes just save the profile when in eyefinity mode before you disable it, it should just go back into eyefinity when you click on the saved profile
 
Hm, honestly can't see anywhere to save it.

Would it help if i took a screenshot of what i see in the control panel?

I have checked all the dropdowns on the display setups in CCC.
 
Fixed, you have to run CCC in administrator mode, also create the preset when in the "arranging the display" window also when you go to extended mode it puts the screens in the wrong order to make it correct you have to hit the hotkey twice and it puts them in the correct order.

Rather crap I must say but shocked it took me almost 3 hours to get this far ;(
 
i messed about with it for ages also, it would be good if you could have extended desktop then jump into eyefinity when a game is launched
 
NONE OF THE ABOVE!

1. Setup the Eyefinity display within CCC
2. Press the Windows key and P at the same time.
3. Choose either Extend (std three config displays) or Duplicate (Eyefinity mode)
4. Once in three display mode, use right click+screen resolution to ensure screens are correctly configured
5. Only use Windows+P from now on

Never use CCC for this crap again!
