Hi,

Right then I've got:-

3 X Dell 2407FPW
2 X ATI 6950
3 x DVI cables
1 x Display Port to DVI Active adapter

tried a few combinations but I don't seem to be able to "group" the screens together to get Eyefinity setup, all I seem to be offered is (1 x 2) or (2 x 1) so I'm guessing I've not got something connected up right

From my configuration:-

6950(Card 1)
DVI
DVI
Display Port
Display Port

6950(Card 2)
DVI
DVI
Display Port
Display Port

what should I be connecting to what, should Crossfire be enabled/disabled?

BTW all three screens work and get a signal, I can use all 3 monitors if I don't try and group them and just have a "normal" multi monitor setup.

Can some kind soul with a similar setup point/push me in the right direction!

Cheers

Rest of the rig is:-

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz
2x XFX ATI Radeon 6950 2048MB
Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular
Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 Intel P67
Corsair H70 Cooler
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB

so far I've got 2 games installed:-

COD4
Half Life 2

and I can't get either of them to run in Eyefinity, both games just drop back to the desktop before I even get a look at the "options".

I've setup my 3 x 2407FPWs in the the group shown above, what am I doing wrong ;)

I was hoping it was going to be as "easy" as setting the resolution in the games to 5760 x 1200 but it seems not!

Both games should work fine apart from cod will need widescreen fixer but somethings not right if they are both dropping out to the desktop

Have you edited the config files at all? They're probably trying to run at an unsupported resolution (your old 1080p res for instance) and hence they 'crash'.

Nope not changed anything, disable Eyefinity and Crossfire and they still wont start, 3DMARK11 will though!

So even when going back to one monitor they don't work? Weird. Tried different drivers?

What were you running before you moved to the 24"-ers?

Brand new system downloaded DirectX End-User Runtimes and now both work, time to re-enable Eyefinity and Crossfire me thinks ;)
