Eyefinity vs 3d

I am having a fairly difficult time chosing which graphics card to chose for my new high end system i was ethier considering the

GTX 460

or the
HD Radeon 5850

What games will you be playing ?

That will probably determine whats the best choice...

I will mostly be playing games like MW2 that is why the ATI is so tempting as well and will definatly be going etheir sli or crossfire in the future how ever i can do up 4 with ati but only two with the GTX 460 so is two GTX 460 enough for anything in future lets say 5 years

the choice could also come down to the amount of physical space available to you.

3x 22/24inch monitors requires a lot of desk space. (you can use smaller but then what's the point?)

1 3d monitor less space.

eye infinity is also something you could build up to... get 1 monitor now and add one each month or when funds are available.

I guess that sounds the most reasonable plan
