Just bought this game today, along with the expansion & for the life of me I couldnt get it running, kept getting the same windows error message

So I just did a search for FEAR and one of the threads was this.

Just goes to show that people should try searching before starting a new thread

For the people having problems updating, you'll need to download the UK patch and not the US one.
