'its only a game, its only a game'

will try again when I'm feeling brave :)

lmao, not scary one bit, seriously I actually went through the whole thing as if it was a normal fps all guns blazing.

Doom 3 was more intence tbh.

yeh its the only game thats actually made me scared aswell. its more the atmosphere than the jumpy crap thats usually in games.

try a game called condemed aswell

High heels are to your left, stockings are in the second drawer down, skirt is in the wardrobe, curlers for your hair are to your right.

Your big girls blouse is behind you. :p

Fear scary? I don't think so, all that happened was some stupid girl walking about giggling, *yawn*. At least doom 3 could make you jump when monsters jumped out of nowhere.

Played fear 3 times on different difficulty settings, tbh that little girl didnt really scare me at all but one game that scared the hell out of me was DOOM3, turned off the lights once whilst playing and got too scared. Didnt play for a week!

I think its kinda creepy and sometimes does the standing hairs on the back of your neck but I wouldnt call it scary more exciting , get a grip man :D lol

Personally I find Fear freaks me out more than Doom3, completed FEAR so many times now, might give Doom a run all the way to the end some time.

Its not the stuff jumping out that makes FEAR its just the creapy atmosphere, personally I find the addon even more intense, the invisible dudes with the red eyes then become less invisible as you shoot them that you first see in the demo freak me out

doom 3 - may give that a miss :)

I might reinstall and give it another go to try to prove my manhood but I'll be wearing brown pants at the time just in case.

Every time I've tried I've got about 20 minutes into it then had to leave it alone.

Doom 3 had me screaming like a big hairy girl (constantly).

FEAR wasn't bad at all really! Come on there's the bit with the ladder which makes you jump but you pretty much know when something freaky is going to happen later on in the game. The cloaking enemies are a bit scary.

To be honest bulletime takes away any kind of scaryness, the scariest part of Doom 3 was when you would open a door and an imp would lunge at you, by the time you realise what was going to happen he was on you :o

Get Doom 3! It's a very emotional experience :D (May I suggest you acquire sponsorship from Andrex/Similar comfortable toilet paper).

Problem with FEAR was that most of the 'scary' stuff was in the demo - so once you'd played that the full game didn't have many shocks left. Only scary bit was how badly it ran on my X800XT at the time...
