F@H assignment servers down

Started my shift this morning and logged on to check the progress of my farm since I got my flatmate to install Logmein. All my CPU clients handed in work (except the troublesome VM on my GPU/VM hybrid. The client shut itself down - apparently at my request This is now a GPU/WinSMP hybrid ) but none have been able to get any new work. Checked the Stanford server status page and several servers are down. One machine has been trying to get work since midnight

GPU client is merrily Folding away, so it's not a complete washout - but damn close. Results servers seem to be working so at least I got my bigadv WU sent in

Typical both SMP's failed now cant get any work been like it for hour's

Yeah, one of my VMs has been trying to get work since about 04:00. There are at least three threads about it on the foldingforum.

All now appears to be well and all clients now Folding away merrily All picked up new work at around 08:00 or thereabouts.

Got three rigs waiting for work and a bigadv WU ready to finish in a little over two hours. Hopefully won't be too long before someone reboots them

Bah. Tried for quite some time to get new WU but then decided to have a go with BOINC.

Anyone had any joy yet? Some of Stanford's servers are still up, but I don't know if they are the ones receiving WUs or not.

Stanford's main power plant is currently offline (perhaps due to flooding--we're having unusually heavy rains this morning). Some of our server rooms are affected. We're assessing the situation and doing our best to maintain maximal server availability. Please bear with us.

Power and cooling are mostly restored; one of the major server rooms is still down. We're waiting for an update from the admins who take care of it.

Our remaining server room has come back online and we are currently restarting servers. Most servers should return to normal operation shortly. Thanks for your patience.
