could it be that i am using 4 cores but only 4 threads instead of 8 threads

I have been running the windows SMP and run two of them each one can only use 4 threads of the eight, so in task manager you should have 4 instances of FahCore_a1.exe running if it is using 4 threads/cores and your PPD sounds about right infact it's a bit more than what i was getting.

yes you are right i do have 4 instances running

so all i have to do is to run another smp client but call it a different name?

Yeah just install another in a separate folder and you should be good to go

Remember to set the machineid setting to "2".

Just need to find out how much electric it will use at 10.32 pence per kw now
