The bulk of my folding was done at a time when 5-6k ppd was considered Godlike so these last few hundred thousands seem to have taken forever - just goes to show how much things have changed in a couple of years.
 
I'll say! I considered it a good day if I stayed over 3.5K. Now I see people get 15k per CORE on the nVidia cards!

Yup, just one rig.

Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz & 3 x GTX 260 (1502Mhz Shader Clock).

But as I will be transferring back to SETI sometime soon I have not optimised the rig for running folding....just the standard clients etc.

Just trying to justify spending £1200 on a rig for my daughter (christmas) and then I can hijack it :)

On the plus side I managed to get VMWare player to use Bridged Networking. I switched to a different NIC and it is working like a champ. I might have to buy a Gigabit NIC card for the computer though - the NIC I switched to doesn't support Gigabit as far as I can tell :(

It's fine for now, but once it becomes a server I will need it to be Gbit speed since it'll be serving my media etc.

However, the real thrust of the matter is I am folding on all 4 cores, and after a couple of frames [4%] FahMon tells me I am at 3.8K PPD. Not bad for a stock Q6600 :) Might try my OC again at some point, but I never got around to replacing my "temporary" replacement PSU lol. Not sure this thing can take an OC.
