F@H problem

I'm getting the following errors...

Error: Got status code 407 from server
Could not connect to Primary Assignment Server for ID

Really wanna help out with F@H any ideas??

proxy server?

I think we block every port apart from port 80... I have tried using both windows explorer and toher settings for proxy but does not work

Over what port have you told FAH to communicate? 8080 is default but it can be easily changed to 80.

Does your fahlog.txt have listed the IP address(es) of the server(s) it's trying to contact? If so, try entering the address into your web browser and seeing if it will let you go there. If you do not have address listed, check to be sure you're running with -vebosity 9.

I found this over in the folding forums - seems to be a problem getting through an ISA server

I'm screwed lads, not getting past the proxy.

I have a lappy at home... it has the following spec..

Intel Centrino Core Duo Processor 2.0GHz
2GB DDR2 SDRAM
120GB Hard Drive
DVD Dual Layer Drive - To read DVDs and CDs and write CDs, DVD+, DVD- and large Dual Layer DVD
15.4" WSXGA+ Widescreen TFT Screen
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 PCI-E 512MB HyperMemory graphics (256MB dedicated)
Integrated gigabit LAN and 56k v.90 data fax modem

Would that be ok to help out??

Yep. In fact, depending on how long you leave it running, you'll do really well with that.

will start when I get home, leave it on over night, how long do you lot fold for at one time??

As above with all machines, except the laptop (1.6GHz Centrino) as it tends to get a little hot - especially if I've been blasting aliens

I switch it o** for about 1 night per week
