F1 2010 multiplayer problem....

Sorry if this has been discussed in the main thread but there are a lot of posts to plough through!!

I set up a custom gp with a mate on Saturday and all worked fine but when we came to have another go last night we couldnt connect!?!?

We can connect to some listed games (and not others!) but it simply will not let one connnect to the other in a private game!

My mate reset his router in the meantime but he's gone back on and re-added the Steam ports etc so we cant figure out what has changed - or is this a common, random problem????

Thanks for any advice coz this is driving me insane!!!!

I can't even connect to Live within the game at all despite being wide open to it ports and MS connection test wise, really irritating.

Dunno if I have any other GFWL games to test it with.

No tried online yet with F1 but have you ever used hamachi. It works like a LAN but over the net. I use it to play Flaming Cliffs 2 as it works a lot better than the ingame multiplayer browser.

www.logmein.com look for hamachi free edition.

Tried Hamachi - nothing doing!

The frustrating part is the fact we had it working and now, seemingly randomly, we cant get it working again!!!!!
