F1 2010 Race Arranging Thread (PS3)

stick me down psn oldHTK- but in about a week or so.... is someone gonna do the

**** OCUK PS3 F1 2010 Season*** ? :D

To begin on the same days as the Real F1 races (practice, qualifiers, race)

i'd be up for that....with bells on

Havent checked but the online options seem to be very customisable.

what tyres were you on for Melbourne? I think i went adaptles/intermed.
need to go put my hand under some cold water ouchies.
 
When you do the setup through the engineer, i always go all the way to the right for a full dry setup.

I made the mistake of reading the text (downforce, top speed, handling) and assuming that would be a good setup, but if it's dry make sure the dry setup is highlighted.

I also play with the wings to give me more front end grip.

And yeah, i'd never raced in Singapore before, didn't have any assists so my braking points and turn ins were messed up :)
 
Did you have more straight line speed?

BMW Sauber i think?

i was in HRT. Just wondering or are the cars equalized?
 
Yeah, the cars were equal.

Not sure why i had more straight line speed than you, but my rear wing was set to 1, and front wing 8, to give less drag on straights, and more turn on the corners.
 
Could do one. What circuit? Would need a little bit of practice on it beforehand.



So whose up for it? :D Around 9pm ish?

So need to decide:

circuit, amount of laps, anything else?
 
I will be on at 9pm. Shall we just pick Singapore say 10 laps as it is this weekend's GP? I have not had a chance to play yet but just keen to see what the MP is like before I try the SP.

I have no ideas what other options are in the game someone else should probably host. Also having not played it I suspect I will need some aids on :)

righty ho. Ive tried it without any aids on, fiendishly difficult much easier to lose control and spin.

oh and i'll say it now (but i know it'll happen)

no shunting :p


customization options are extensive - go full realistic? damage, fuel rules etc.

hrmm it doesnt give the option for 10 laps only

1, 3, then 10% 20% 30% etc

Weather conditions? Heavy rain? :D

ok added everyone on this thread. I can easily setup a private session and invite everyone?

Not sure about the strength of my connection (sky :D) for hosting tho i could give it a go.

so is it 1 race singapore only ?

We could also do 3 races like a mini-season you get point in each race

e.g.

Melbourne
Silverstone
Singapore

Ideas?

ok 2 races

Melbourne - dry

Singapore - heavy rain (driving in rain is all kinds of fun)

Ill start setting it up and invite folk who are online and have accepted the FL. at 21:10

so you could have a quick praccy on Melbourne :D
 
ok it didnt seem to work possibly my connection is too crappy. If someone else is hosting give me a holler. Doesnt seem to be many folk interested atm.
