Anyone planning to attend any of the F1 2011 races?

I am thinking about heading to Singapore or Japan. Always wanted to go to either of these countries so thought it would be good to see a F1 race while I am there!
 
Unfortunately not, if Singapore, abu dhabi or Australia race was in august then I probably would have depending on ticket prices.
 
Did Singapore in 2008, was an amazing atmosphere, but good viewing spots are limited. Probably the same with most street circuits.

Would love to do Spa next but probably won't be until 2012.
 
I'm off to the British GP, I've been wanting to go for years and have finally got my backside into gear to get tickets. Can't wait!

Aparently there is somewhere doing £7 tickets for some track...

EDIT: its Turkey, £39 for 3 days general admission....

EDIT2: Or Malaysia! £9 for 3 days!?!?!!

Flights to Turkey are relatively cheap with Easyjet too. Worth thinking about.

£140 on Ryanair but that's Wed to Wed. More for less time, Turkish Airlines are wanting £185 Thursday to Monday.

It should be plenty warm at that time of year in Turkey. You could camp it, but might need to bring your own tent which then might cost extra as baggage.
 
hmm flights seem quite expensive, and error on the ticket site. is the 35Euro general admission for all 3 days?

Although just found return flight sat-mon so would only be teh race for £79..
 
Not looking likely, I reckon your looking at 300 for ticket/flights/hostel/hotel. Whats public transport like, do you need a hotel near the track? so you can walk it, I imagine it's quite busy on race day and congested?
 
Hopefully going to 2! Will be going to Oz and am hoping can arrange it to be in Melbourne for the race, also all being well will be going to Spa also!
Never been to a race before so to say i'm excited at the prospect is an understatement!
