Same. I wonder if the current Lotus team's decision to use the classic, iconic Lotus colour scheme of black and gold was in anticipation of losing the right to call the team Lotus. How better to remind people of Team Lotus than to use the colours that team used?

Dany T. Bahar is the Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Group having joined in September 2009. Prior to joining Lotus, Bahar was employed at Ferrari S.p.A..[1][2]

On 2010, Bahar made a imbecilic decision by prompting Proton, owner of Lotus Cars to purchase 25 % of Renault F1 using Malaysian taxpayers money to get involved in Formula One. It is in the wake of the namesake fight between Group Lotus and 1Malaysia Racing Team spearheaded by Tony Fernandes which undeniably is not Group Lotus to own, which is the 'Team Lotus'. Even if Bahar made a brave effort and attempt to change Lotus's stand in the Automotive world by introducing new cars to penetrate the market long held by those of Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and many more, the step in which to gainsay 1Malaysia Racing's F1 ambition to put back Lotus's name in the top of the lucrative motorsport may well have backfire and tarnish the brand itself and Bahar eventually.

Right so urm we all agree lotus that raced this year needs a big hug and proton should go away and sponsor the merc team or something... Then hold out for a return of Benatton to bring back a classic Renault powered car! (with retro stylings and all)

Heard it hear first Jordan will be back on the grid with all the cash he's made of the bbc............

WDC betting odds are stupid right now all the top teams could build a clanger and HRT could build a car 2seconds a lap faster than anyone else
 
I know, would be foolish to have one now but saying that, if you wanted to back Hamilton, 3/1 looks a decent price if pre-season testing shows they've got a competitive car.

That's gambling for you :p

That would be funny as hell, as it's looking like HRT are going to have to modify their 2010 chassis for 2011 as they've burned pretty much every supplier they can. :D
 
I'm vaguely tempted as a massive Kubica fanboy to put a few quid on him winning a champ. Have a feeling renault might pull something out next year.
