F1 2012 - teams and drivers

Yep. In 2013 Riciardo to Red Bull (lol at the Toro Rosso guys inability to prove themselves), Perez to Ferrari and Di Resta to Mercedes. Don't know where Massa will go though. Possibly to one of the opening spaces, Merc maybe, or Sauber?

love to see di resta with schumacher :D

rosberg has been a let down this year hes leading on points yes but if you compare the laptimes from the last 7 or so races its obvious he doesnt have the pace needed fro championship battles, at best hes a poor version of button.

merc would be better of getting di resta and having him learn from schumacher without any silly mind games that nico did turning the team against him.

Is Schumi the same you knew?
‘Yes. He struggled at the beginning because a 3 years stop is a big thing. But now he's back to his levels. And Rosberg is very competitive as well’.

It was Alonso who wanted you to leave?
‘No comment, I'm working for Schumi now’.

its pretty obvious who the team leader is in merc this year everyone seems to have lost faith in rosberg seeing as he always blames the car and never admits his own failings its not really a suprise.

added his mind games "could have" "would have" "should have" comments

Rosberg seems to have just been forgotten on the tv coverage, Totally forgot about him lol.

TBH, Mercedes have kinda blended into the background.

Arknor, I disagree. MSc is good, but hes 1 year (or less) away from proper retirement. Rosberg has plenty of time left in him yet. It makes sense for them to want to keep him and bring in some fresh blood.

Oh, and as for the 'MSc is faster on lap times' thing, last time I checked the WDC was handed out to the guy with the most points, not the guy who sets a faster lap. So using the scale by which the F1 championship is measured, Rosberg is doing better than MSc.

You can invent any sort of measuring technique you like to make MSc look better, but untill the FIA use it to decide the championship, its a completely worthless excersise.

Rosberg will be kept at Mercedes as they'll want at least one german driver simply because they're a German team.

As has been said, Perez to Ferrari, Massa to Sauber, Hamilton and Button staying put, Webber retire at the end of 2012. nNot sure about Ricciardo, he'll get one of the Torro Rosso seats full time next season I reckon so it depends if he impresses or not. Di Resta to Mercedes when Schu retires. I'd still like to see Kobayashi given a really good car but I can't really see where that's going to happen. :(

nico in singapore was embarrasing

As opposed to Schumacher, who shone with brilliance?

Lol.

I'd still like to see Kobayashi given a really good car but I can't really see where that's going to happen. :(

With the lack of a Japanese team on the grid theres no obvious place for him to go. I would be happy for him to stay at Sauber, push them hard, and provide us with some enjoyable watching.

Cant wait to see him at Suzuka, LEEEEEROOOOY!

when your 1-1.5 seconds slower than your team mate yes your embarrasing but your a known schumacher hater so i wont waste my time.

on nearly every other f1 forum people comprehend rosberg has been beaten on pace the last half dozen races and his career nlonger looks as bright as it once did.

mercedes need a top tier driver if they ever want to compete with redbull , mclaren and ferrari and i dont see nico beeing the future of mercedes

Lol, I'm not a Schumacher hater. I think hes done a good job considering a 3 year break and massive rule changes. He's also a far more likeable person this time around compared to his Ferrari days.

What I am, is a Schumacher Fanboy hater.

Rosberg is ahead of Schumacher in the Championship. Rosberg is therefore doing better than Schumacher. Simples.

This is true. I used to despise him and Ferrari during their best years. I now actually quite like him he has chilled out a bit. It would be nice if he was able to get another win or two in but doubt it will happen - podiums maybe though.

Schumacher struggles in qualifying for some reason. This season he has often been faster that Rosberg in free practise and much faster and racer during GPs.

He did suffer that engine(?) problem in monaco, and a DNF recently. I believe Rosberg also had a DNF not too long ago too.

another epic drive from rosberg

loved all the overtaken he did! oh wait he was following cars cautiously rather than beeing an actual racer it was his same journeyman drive i have came to expect from him.

hes lucky he made up 25seconds from the safety car or he would have still been down in 16th place at the end :p

aparently nico wants to move to ferrari anyway...
