Sky F1 will be broadcasting two bespoke programmes with the latest news and insight from Jerez and Barcelona after all 12 days of pre-season winter testing.

The first test begins in southern Spain on Sunday February 1 and the Sky Sports team will be there in force to bring you all the developments and news when the new 2015 cars make their first appearances of the year.

For a full month between February and March 1, 9pm will become an essential appointment to view for all F1 fans as Sky F1 brings you the key developments from the three tests.

In 'Gear Up', the first of our two nightly 15-minute shows, Rachel Brookes and Craig Slater will round-up the day’s news and speak to the people who matter in the paddock.

For the 9.15pm slot, Ted Kravitz and David Croft will share duties in providing additional insight on the day’s activities.

On each day of both the Jerez test and the first of the two Barcelona meets, Ted will deliver another helping of the ever-popular Notebook as he goes behind the scenes to reveal the latest goings-on in F1.

Sky Sports F1's Ted Kravitz thinks Lewis Hamilton will again be the man to beat in 2015.

And then for the final winter test, underway on February 26 at the Circuit de Catalunya, David will be your 9.15pm host with four special editions of #AskCrofty.

There will also be live updates throughout each day of testing on Sky Sports News HQ, while the Sky Sports Online team will be providing commentary on all 12 days of track action from dawn to dusk across our digital platforms, including the Sky F1 website and regular updates on the Sky F1 Twitter account.

The new F1 season begins on March 15 in Australia. All 20 races will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1.

Pre-season Test dates:
February 1-4: Jerez, Spain.
February 19-22: Barcelona, Spain.
February 26-March 1: Barcelona, Spain.

Watch 30 mins either side of race on Sky, qually just turn on usually when Q1 starts and watch some of practice depending on the time it's on - repeats are useful on F1 channel to catch up on that. Do tend to try and watch all of P3.

I'm grateful that I can work from home if I wish so I tend to do that during FP1 and FP2 :)

I needed to cancel my Sky sub as was costing me far too much just for F1. I do miss the Sky coverage though so might look at that NowTV thing as an alternative if the quality and reliability is any good.

I'll be doing the nowtv route, much cheaper than paying for sky, already cancelled. now on freesat and nowtv.
And now they have a week pass for about ~£6 on ebay. Great for the non BBC races.

BBC if it on BBC
skygo via my grand parents if not - the quality is ok, but its not really SD freeview and it shows on the plasma tv

no longer watch pre/post show, just not like it used to be.

i stumbled across the old ITV 'goodbye' montage today..good memories!

What's the quality like watching the F1 on NowTV? Is there an opportunity to record the broadcast from NowTV, or is that never going to happen.

The quality is fine. If your connection is rubbish it drops like Youtube does, but on any half decent connection I've not had any issues, even when I watched Bathurst which is on for bloody hours.
