Is it this year the cars are meant to be louder? The Merc. sounds a bit throatier in that video, but that could be for any number of reasons.

Toro Rosso are another team struggling with available time. Interim (plain blue) livery for the first test, ala Williams from 2 years ago.

They have changed the waste gate exhaust rules, which I presume are the 2 smaller exits in that Mercedes video as the rules allow only a single exhaust pipe, which is meant to make things louder.

The turbo wastegate now exits separately from the main exhaust to try and generate some more noise.

Be interesting to see how much extra noise this actually produces. The screamer pipes will only make a sound when the wastegate is open to bypass the turbine, however the primary control for boost / compressor RPM is via the MGU-H.
