I just improved a bit and messed up the first set of corners a little but getting a complete lap in without mistakes is so difficult.

Sunday will be the last day with results put up by youngblood or DG by the looks of it, they have the most people on their friends list

Won't be sorry to say goodbye to this circuit. I have never liked it , and I've never been able to string a good lap in, its too long and I miss the corners to many times and time I gain I have lost due to a mistake where I just forgot what part of the track I am at.

Respect to real F1 drivers. How they do this, wow.

I did get into the 1:43s though. But wow its hot anyhow but sweating now.
 
Had a fantastic last few laps in career mode at Socci this evening. In the Renault and was 9th and had been gaining on Kyvat in a Toro Rosso in 8th for a few laps. I got within DRS on the penultimate lap down the start finish straight and got past him in the DRS zone. Trouble is I had to turn my engine back from rich to standard for the last two laps otherwise I might not have made it to the end (had a safety car at the start so was able to run rich for a lot of the race). This meant he kept within the DRS time for that lap and he then got around me at the same point on the last lap. I was really peeved so decided to do a banzai overtake at the first turn after the first drs zone (where he just went passed) and pulled off the best overtake ever. I broke late and kept tight on the inside line. His front right brushed my rear left ever so slightly but we got away cleanly and I was ahead and held on to till the chequered flag.

Watched the last few laps back on replay and it looked epic.

Was one of those real magic moments. The whole moment (and race for that matter) felt really realistic.

Loving this game so far :D. Codemasters have done a really great job this time around.

Must start a career and get my teeth into it.
 
thought id got finners did a 1:42.4 but he has slightly improved his time.cant do it much faster than that myself.
