F1 2023 Car (livery) launches

With respect the team have clearly said it was done for weight saving yet you are still banging the Lewis agenda drum. Cool you may not like the guy and/or team but lets stick to the facts.
Mercedes introduced an all black car previously and that was to be applauded at that time, no argument with that at all and as far as I'm concerned Lewis is just another f1 driver, even though his fashion sense is fairly questionable. As you've correctly stated this time it is more about the weight of the new car which appears to be marginal. Perhaps the short lived side pods are also a suggestion of this, who knows.. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/m...eason-sidepod-revamp-for-w14-f1-car/10432497/

It's still boring to look at with the most uninspiring colour scheme of any car launch for whatever reason..

I wonder to what extent the black livery is due to Russell. As one of the biggest drivers he must limit their wiggle room on the weight limit.

Edit: Looked it up. Despite the height difference, Hamilton is actually the heavier of the two and one of the heaviest drivers at 73kg.
They have a minimum driver weight of 80KG so driver weight shouldn't make a difference unless they're obese.
