F1 Car Launches 2010

On a side note - Trulli was in my former local pub yesterday. They are going to start stocking his wine there too. ;)

O'rly? Been out Hingham way the last 2 days hoping that I might see somthing interesting going on at the factory and seen nowt :( Then again I have seen Lordrobs twice today, if you read this the random Tesco van that flashed you in Wymondham was me. Still loving the colour scheme, just got to hope they can be competetive. Best of the newcomers come season end and I dont think they will be unhappy.

I refuse to disclose my sources. It wasn't subtle though - several Evora's sat outside. ;)

You just need to remember that a Bird In Hand is worth two in the bush. ;)

There are Evora's everywhere, one in a particular is a stunning Blue which always catches my eye. Ive yet to visit such greatly coded public house, maybe I should so that I can sample some of Mr Trulli's finest. I wonder if it should be drank in the manner of his driving, slowly? :D

I do kinda like the Evora in the Isotope Green colour they do... One of their development cars was that colour and I used to see it quite often

I see about 5 Evoras every day on their way to Lotus HQ. Bright orange one was parked up the back of the daycare centre in the village last week too. (Mulbarton)

Looks like the official Lotus F1 web page has had a facelift to coincide with the launch of the car. One would have to assume that you still roam these parts Mr Flibster?

I escaped from Norfolk about 7 years ago *YAY!* - mine and the other half parents still live there so we visit fairly often.

I did find out something interesting earlier though - David Hunt may not have the name Team Lotus any more - apparently the name was not sold, but leased for a term of 10 years. If the lease hasn't been extended then it will have reverted back to Chapman family.

I do like the lotus and oddly the Renault, reminds me of Jordan colours.
Surely this season shows that the should let established teams aka Prodive have first pick of opening places??

HRT (Campos) Launch

The HRT team finally revealed its first Formula 1 car at a presentation event in Murcia on Thursday, as the Spanish squad officially launched its new look following Jose Ramon Carabantes' recent takeover.

With just eight days to go until the first practice session of the new season in Bahrain, the newly-confirmed Karun Chandhok and team-mate Bruno Senna pulled the wraps off the Dallara-designed chassis – simply named HRT – which features a dark grey livery with a white, red and orange stripe.

The unveiling, which took place at the Auditorio de Murcia in the south-eastern Spanish city of Murcia, was also attended by the squad’s new majority owner Carabantes, newly-installed team principal Colin Kolles and Spanish motorsport federation president Carlos Gracia.

Spanish businessman Carabante spoke of his pride at launching his country’s first F1 team and says its full Hispania Racing name reflects its native roots.

“The new HRT F1 Team, ‘Hispania Racing F1 Team’ is born in Murcia,” he said.
