F1 Race Stars by Codmasters

I just downloaded F1 RACE STARS Demo from steam but looking in the settings theres no remapping setting. I've got this game on pre order but now i'm worried that I've wasted money again on a game I can't play.

I've emailed codemasters

You can't remap controls in this game. You have the option of keyboard or xbox 360 pad. The lead profile will be assigned to which ever input device you use to pass the start screen. (before the main menu)

OK i'm going to be embarrassed as an older gamer I wasn't expecting to like the demo but I love it :) Ordered from shoptonet for a shade under £18 and looking forward to it.

It maybe that I like the lack of sliding and not keeping your finger on accelerate the whole way round but yep sounds like i'm in the minority here :(

Codemasters have finally realised they cannot make a good racing game and admit defeat through releasing a kiddies game!

Any chance we can have constructive critism or comments on the forthcoming game, I appretiate I am in the minority but i'm looking forward to this title and I think I get that a lot of people don't like the game but that doesn't add anything to this thread.

Anyone know how they will handle the online MP - match up etc?

fyi codies have a free to play f1 management game, has top down racing too

WHERE give it to me now

and whats Geoff Crammond up to these days?

please someone tell me he's in a dark room sacrificing virgin f3000 drivers to make a new pc game

I have a Steam friend who worked on the game, I've passed this on to him for you, will let you know if I hear anything back

For those that have it, is multiplayer dead or can you usually find a game to join with other people?

Even on release it seemed to be dead - I got the game for the MP aspect so that was disappointing :(

Codemasters are very much a "release and done" company as in their games do not get a great deal of support post release, they put resources into the next years upgrade, sorry, full game.

Which is exactly why I only bought F1 2010 and non of the so called new ones.
barmyllama You bought the wrong F1

Codemasters F1 2012 is the fixed/patched version of F1 2010...:p
