F1 returns to BBC

I'm just not feeling the love with F1 anymore.. I can't get past the cliche'd to death procession 'racing'..

I wish they'd spent the money on more bike sport, Moto GP/ WSB and BSB, plenty of action, overtaking on every lap... shorter races.. perfect..

But then I can't complain, any motorsport is better then yet another DIY programme.. :)

Can you imagine Clarkson doing the grid walk....."talk to me dammit Alonso, I dont care if your getting in the car in a minute, weve got 50 kerzillion people watching at home and they want to know what you really think about Lewis Hamilton!"
:D

Do any of us honestly think that the whole Top Gear team would actually be hired to cover the race broadcasts on their lonesome?

They might well have Top Gear tie-in with the racing, but I doubt it'll extend much beyond that. But, we shall see!

No wai top gear presenters will do it. All that travel is hard work, some of these circuits are in grim places. It might seem glamourous but anyone who has done a lot of travel for work will tell you otherwise.

Great news F1 is back on the BBC. My vote goes for 'The Chain' to make a return and that Suzie Perry > Louise Goodman.

Do you think the BBC could produce a service like the channel Premier does in Germany?

In Germany on Premier you have 3 channels to watch, World feed with commentary, World feed without commentary and an onboard channel. Where you use your TV remote to switch between the 3 channels. Basically is the same service which used to be F1Digital+ afew years back.

Could it be a possibility they could do this kind of service on the BBC I "Red Button"?
