Can anyone catch Mercedes, are McLaren unshackled now with Renault, will Force India actually turn up?

Will everyone come to their senses and ditch the halo?

I'm looking forward to McLaren vs Red Bull battle. With McLaren chaning to Renault power, we'll see who truly has the best chassis :D

Surprised more haven't followed mercedes. Makes so much more sense having two drivers, if it's reliable. The mileage you can get.

Apparently that is the plan a few of them have, only a couple of teams have handed out their full testing schedule so far so expect more split duties, especially with weather getting worse towards the end of the week.

And for those that have the F1 App, testing times are now on it. That's a first for them.
It's not the most full of information, but it's there.
Driver, Team, on track, best lap, gap, laps and pit.
No mention of tyres, any commentary, previous lap times... but it's a start.

Glad McLaren seem fairly unscathed by the wheel coming off, could have been much worse. And Red Bull's digital camo testing livery? Where did that go, or was it just a launch livery special?

Apparently Ricciardo broke the car during the shakedown day, sidepod and wing, and that was the only set of those panels.
So yeah, an expensive paintjob for testing not used in testing. :D

Or as they said when they launched last week "expect to see the 2018 livery in testing next week"

Sadly it seems the camo this year was only ever intended for launch.
