F1

Finally, official. Brad Pitt stars in F1, coming to cinemas Summer 2025.

Feels like years since they first announced this and filmed bits.
Saw it earlier today before the gp race. Brilliant movie. Really enjoyed it.

Saw this last night on IMAX and did enjoy it. Wouldn't recommend having any beers beforehand though, as it's quite long... Was dying by the end. :D
Good soundtrack, and definitely looks impressive.

I thought it was maybe a bit off to have repurposed an old crash, for his past F1 story. I was glad that they didn't have that nonsense, staggering out the car before collapsing moment, we saw being filmed at the GP last year.

Wasn't really too bothered about watching this but then I saw Hans Zimmer did the soundtrack, so that may just swing it for giving it a go. The press for it does give a bit of a cheesy vibe though, for anyone who actually watches F1.

It's really good, same director as the last top gun movie, he's definitely found a formula that works and is unapologetically for men.

Only complaint would be the length, it didn't feel particularly long but it's not a complicated storyline either, could have been shorter.

I didn't feel it too long, it moves along at a decent pace I thought.

For those who saw it in IMAX? worth it? And for those that didn't do you wish you had?

I'm gonna watch this next week. I can watch it for free in normal format, or for £3.90 in IMAX. Probably the last week it will be in IMAX locally as well....

My imax uplift is £5 and I should have paid it, but it was an inconvenient time for the film start so only had standard screen options. Very immersive sound track and the racing scenes would benefit from the screen real estate. As mentioned I'm probably going to watch it again and will try for imax if it's still on.

Drive over to Denmark to watch it in the tiniest of cinemas. Definitely worth it, it's a solid blockbuster and there's plenty there for the F1 fan to enjoy if you don't sweat the details too much.

But, oh my god, that lass's Irish accent was dire.

I saw it last night and thought it was solid. Good 7/10 popcorn movie.

Great action, brilliant score and the story wasn’t terrible at all. I didn’t actually predict the end so there’s something.

My only “complaint” (not really a complaint) was that they literally won, or finished well because of Sonny taking people out and causing accidents. Not great?

Not going to lie I was really worried they would copy the same ending like the Stallone's Driven movie where he sacrificed himself to help the brat win. It didnt work in Rocky 5 either. that would have spoiled the movie for me.

I saw this on release day in 4D. It was a great film I really enjoyed it.

The seat vibrations were overused but damn did it feel good for those crashes.
