Playing Champions via Steam reminded me how I like this and wished it was F2P!

Wonder if my old chars be there since I used to sub.

But you can have more then one free account! Might not be able to trade between accounts easily though.

I mean CoX stands for CoH/V (the X is used as a variable) and doesn't get confused with Company of Heroes.

As a previous subscriber youl be a premium member and get a few more bonuses then a free account. Which should mean I get to keep and use my current characters.

Three tier model; totally f2p - limited character slots, only 8 ATs *1 to choose from and no access to the Epic ATs and post 50 content.

Premium - you've given them money at some point, either by having been a suscriber or buying points on a Free account.

VIP - you're paying a subscription fee as per normal and get extra shinies. (free points and bonus content basically)

*1 Archetypes, equivalent to classes in other games

I remember playing years ago - Had a lot of fun with a RL friend of mine

But it slowly died due to not enough people playing I think

I found it got really repetitive after while but it had strong group content, which Champions seems to lack at my level. Which was a shame since I found a good group of people to play with.

It's changes massively since I played it, so worth another look.

Totally agree - it's not really a game that played well on your own. Having a friend in RL that played it was great

Sounds a bit like LOTROs model, which isn't half bad. Definitely worth a look methinks.
