F30 330d Colour Scheme

I bit the bullet and changed my order to add adaptive, it avoids that element of doubt on what is an expensive purchase.

Roll on delivery day!

Well done - you definitely went for the right colour combo. Would have had to be that really as although the red leather is pretty cool there just isn't a nice exterior colour to match it to :(

Maybe it was towards the end of the year more. My F11 rides much better than my E61 did the only theng I would change is the steering could do with more feel and that's the same if the car has VDC or AD.

I just checked

Had an opportunity to take out 2 330d's this morning one standard mSport on 19"s the other an xDrive on 19's with adaptive.

The standard car really did ride surprisingly well, on the vast majority of roads and speed bumps ect it was very good the only times it felt slightly too firm was on broken B roads and through larger potholes. Being an xDrive the other car rode 10mm higher than the standard car even with the adaptive so it's not a true comparison but gave a good idea. The difference between the two cars wasn't obvious to my passengers but I could feel that it was definitely softer in comfort mode than the standard car and the ride was very good even if not quite so planted, in sport there was a difference but on normal roads not particularly obvious only becoming apparent on poor surfaces.

I would have been happy with the standard setup but I am pleased to have the adaptive. Aside from the suspension the xDrive did feel different to drive, hard to be specific but I preferred the standard rwd car. Either way the 330d has a fantastic drive chain with a lovely ability to waft and disguise acceleration really well but stretching it through the rev range was nice and it even sounded pretty reasonable.

This is why you should try out for yourself before listening to internet people telling you to drop £xk of your own money. It sounds like your order didn't need adaptive from what you typed above.

If its the same as the F10 adaptive drive is 10mm higher than the m-sport suspension anyway. It makes m-sport f10s with 18" wheels look a bit odd imo.

That's just absolutely stunning. Really perfect colour combination and the Xenon lights really make the front end.

How did the lease cost work out on that spec?

Worked out at £2900 deposit & £457 p/m. It's a 3 year deal so the options are spread over the longer period so it's probably not much more than some of the very recent 2 year lease deals on 330's that have been advertised.
