I made a thread last month in regards to the amount of bluescreens i was getting. So i've updated my bios & enabled the XMP profile on my RAM, and since then no issues. As of today, the taskbar just dissapeared out of no where and then BSOD with the F4 error again. Looked on Bluescreenviewer and its a driver called ntoskrnl.exe causing the problem.

Any suggestions?

F4 for me a while back was a sign of a faulty ssd, (ocz vertex 2e 120gb) try running chkdisk to see how it go's.

yeah f4 is hdd/ssd related error

any fw updates for your sandisk? if its sandforce controlled their might be issues with it running on z87 chipset and intel sata ports

try asmedia or marvell sata ports if you have them

motherboard manual should tell you, they might all be intel but not sure

some are mixed on certain boards

EDIT ive checked they are all intel sata ports so idk whatelse you can try?

I have an Asrock mobo and there was something in the manual about not using Marvell ports for some Sata devices, might have been in teh bios actually. Never had any issues with my SSD though. The board i have has a couple of MArvell and the rest are i dunno what
