FA Cup 5th Round Draw

There is absolutely no way in hell we can not beat Crawley town at home, no way. Under 15's or whatever.

laughs - you really had to say that when King, Pogba, Tunnicliffe and Norwood all get given squad numbers before this weekend

(dont get me wrong, they all look good players - but if they all start together its the experience of playing at OT on live TV in a knockout match.....its a lot to put on young shoulders (esp given thats what 40% of the outfield team)

IF there are wholesale changes today - I can see a few gifted goals going in for Crawley

Disaster waiting to happen (Im all for those named being given sub appearances once the game has been won - it would be good for them)

I highly doubt it tbh, Fergie has already placed blame at his own door for yesterdays performance by messing with formations/tactics and what not

Come the Crawley game of course the likes of O'Shea, Brown, Smalling, Evans, Fabio, Gibson, Hernandez and Owen are going to be involved

Shame the game will come too soon for Valencia to be involved, would be the ideal game to ease him back into the swing of things

(I know its an old post, just posting for general ref)

Owen is injured for a couple of weeks , and with Rio injured Im not sure Smalling will be risked,

Wouldnt be surprised to see OSHea, Brown, Evans, Fabio as the back line though

Bebe and Gibson and Obertan to be the core of the midfield I would suspect and Hernandez as the (recognized) striker

This was the PC yesterday;

"The boss confirms both da Silvas will play v Crawley, as well as Bebe, Brown, O'Shea, Chicharito and Lindegaard."

"Anderson, Gibson and Carrick are all available in midfield. Sounds like he'll rest Giggs and Scholes completely (as expected)."

I wouldn't worry too much, the inexperienced players will be on the bench to come on if we are 3/4-0 up at half time I'd imagine.

The players Bucket mentioned should be more than enough to sort Crawley out. Fergie isn't stupid, he's not actually going to put out the Under 15's, is he? :( :p

We talking about the games in here then?

Everton team

Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Cahill, Arteta, Osman, Beckford

Subs: Mucha, Hibbert, Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov, Anichebe, Duffy, Baxter

I'd love King to get a half, he has been firing them in for the reserves and looked very bright when he last came on in the carling cup. Bebe has to get 90 mins really, we need to see what he can do.

I doubt Bebe will get a full 90, I don't think his fitness is up to it as of yet.

I'd be surprised if he didn't chuck Obertan on.

Glad to hear both Silva's playing that gives a little width at least

Brown and OSHea as the centre halfs - thats going to be interesting lol

Obertan and Bebe are both predominantly played on the left are they not? (So unlikely both to start, unless Bebe is used as 2nd striker to Hernandez)

Obertan on the left, Bebe has been playing out right. Both can be used as just off Hernandez, although it seems Anderson might be used there from the rumours.

Robert - It seems it will likely be Chico up front with someone playing just off him.

Chelsea starting XI

Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Kalou, Drogba, Malouda

Subs: Turnbull, Bertrand, Essien, Zhirkov, McEachran, Sala, Anelka.

Bebe has played on the right the two times I've seen him this season. Obertan needs a good game, he was dire last time he played.

Please tell me Brown and O'Shea as CB's is a joke? Brown sure but why not play Evans?
