There's very strong rumours that Man.U. will be allocated in the region of 27k whereas Chelsea will get @23K.
Man.U. have more season ticket holders so I'd agree that it would be fair to give them a larger %, but those amounts are a disgrace.
Chelsea have about 23k ST holders and Man.U. must have about 45k so there's going to be a lot of ****** off fans if the rumoured split is true.
Each team would easily sell 45k each (50% capacity) so surely somewhere in the region of 35k would be a fair amount seeing as the FA have to appease sponsors, scroungers & affiliates.

Its the same every year. The FA give a few tickets to each club who's participated, then theres the sponsors and the wembley season ticket holders and i'd imagine they then sell a load as neutral tickets.

I know for a fact that EON get 3,000 tickets for the final.

But i have to say the semi-final attendances were shocking, if im not mistaken only Utd out of the 4 sides sold out.

It's different this year as that would mean the FA & sponsors having 40k tickets, that's too many, especially at the expense of ST holders & club members.
The Chelsea semi was 4pm on a Sunday afternoon 200 miles away, that's one of the reasons they didn't sell their full allocation, more reasons are found in the spoiler thread, cant speak for any other team:)

I know last season Liverpool had more tickets for there semi at OT than they got for the final.

I know its crazy, especially as at least 30,000 of that 40,000 will end up on the black market going for £400+

It's been the same farce every year since I can remember, it's the FA's show piece, so they like lot's of tickets for their "guests".

I'd personally share 90% to the teams and the remainder for the hangers on myself, but this will never change.

I just assumed there would be a greater share for fans now due to the increased capacity at Wembley.
We just had to enter a ballot for tickets for the England v Brazil game in June, wtf are they doing with all the tickets?

I presume it works on a % rather than a set amount, i.e. the capacity goes up so the amount of tickets for the sponsors goes up to.

I quite agree with the sentiments expressed here regarding the low allocations to the participating clubs. But at least it's a lot better than it used to be.

For the first two finals I was lucky enough to attend, I managed to get one from the club's allocation of only 14000; that was in 1961 and 1962. Capacity at Wembley in those days was 100000, which meant each club got only 14% of the ticket allocation, meaning 72% of the tickets went to neutral or uninterested parties.

Allocation has been announced and it's 25,000 per team, priced as follows:
4,000 are priced at £35
7,700 at £60
10,500 at £80
2,800 at £95

I'll get a ticket as a Chelsea Season Ticket holder, but I'm still outraged, it's a shameless fleecing of the fans.

I wouldn't count on it, the tickets for sponsors are going to come out of each clubs 25k allocation, so we won't actually have 25k going to ST holders so you're going to need as many loyalty points as possible to get one. We've got 24k ST holders & with the amount of sponsors we have there's no way everyone will be guaranteed a ticket:(

25k - Chelsea
25k - Man.U.
17k - Club Wembley members
23k - to the FAs 'Football family'

How do I get a ticket?
Are you a season ticket holder for either club? Are you a Club Wembley member? Are you connected with any sponsor of the fa?
If the answer to those questions is no, then you won't be getting a ticket. Which is what you've already been told in your thread.

You'll either need to be a Man.U. or Chelsea ST holder with a lot of loyalty points, know someone who's affiliated to another member club or something to do with either clubs sponsors or pay a fortune on the black market.

I have 192 out of a possible 202 Loyalty points, so I'm hoping that should be enough. I hope missing the Macclesfield game doesn't come back to haunt me!
No idea where I've dropped the other 5 points though?!

Oh and we've actually got 27k ST holders apparently... :/
