FA Cup Final Tickets (Experiences?)

Firstly let me post a disclaimer in that I appreciate all 'real' fans will get first dibs on tickets and deservedly so.

Now basically I have relatives who are City fans who would love to get Cup Final tickets. They do go up to Manchester every now and then to watch City but will have no where near enough loyalty points needed to be eligible for Final tickets (im presuming). Now obviously touts etc get hold of tickets somehow, im also wondering do companies like Ticketmaster also get allocations etc?

If you have any experience of getting hold of tickets, please let me know as although I have a budget id stretch to, id happily pay over the odds to get these tickets for them.

ticket agencies do not get tickets

unless you know someone that can help you are looking at touts and will pay £600+ each

Some company called livefortickets is selling them already... im a bit suspicious tbh, but i could get a pair on there for £400.. which is cheaper than id thought a tout would do.

EDIT - Cheers rotty, hmm ill hold off on this company then, looks like a scam. 600 per ticket, sod that im not that generous

I am a City fan and was offered tickets through a good tout i know for 470 for yesterday. I turned it down so i can save for the final.

Now i have a real good chance of getting tickets for the final because my dads side of the family are all stoke season tickets and one has a box at stokes ground.
We are thinking of renting a box for the final for whatever it costs and then just working it out per person. Now the box is around 3k i would imagine but there is at least 10 of us so only 300 in the end and that includes food etc.

I would recommend this if you can afford but if not i cant see any other way that you will get tickets because there is only 25k for City fans and they will be sold straight away.

Or you try and find a good tout and buy them like that.
