FA Cup third round draw

Burnley v Arsenal

Hmm...might try and get to that game. Might be rather cold though.

Agree with the posts above, sort of anyway.

This will be another chance for the kids to win a cup, though a Saturday off everynow and again will be nice particularly as we've got 10 games in December:eek:

Fulham v Bristol Rovers - excellent draw for the gas tbh.
Will get tickets for this one :D

If we put the full side out we will blow Villa away, you know it, I know it.

The point is this squad is capable of a double or treble - but we need to put out strong players (so dont let Dong, Campbell etc anywhere near the pitch for a "1st XI! match)

Supposidy there has been a huge mistake in the draw and Villa should have drawn Boro not Utd. Utd were numbered 24 and Boro 25, they guy pulled out ball 25 (boro) but said 24 (utd). Then when he supposidly drew ball 25 he had his finger over the number so you can't see the actual number.

Seems to me as if he realised his mistake after saying 24 so when he actually drew ball 24 he covered it up.

!

They won't re-draw it. It'll make them spend a whole 10 minutes of their time again, and it's a potential crowd-drawer for the BBC and the FA.

According to that article the FA have already said it was just the light distorting the picture but to me it seems as if they're just covering it up, clearly it was 25 that was drawn and just a coincidence that when '25' was drawn the guy had his finger over the number.

It's quite hard to tell, but why is he putting his hand over the number? Apparently he did this many times (I didn't watch it live), but he shouldn't have done it, then this problem wouldn't occur.

If it was fixed, which i seriously doubt it was, then they made a right pigs ear of it as he held the ball up to the camera. It just looked like a simple mistake but rather than come clean the guy tried to cover it up.

Forest won't be a walkover if they get through.

What makes you say that ?

Im a Forest fan and i can tell you we will get hammered if we play Liverpool. Firstly the obvious difference in class. Secondly we always go week at the knees when on TV - we just cannot perform (even against non league).

I'm hoping they don't play as bad as they did against Chelsea last year!

If they get through of course ;)

God that was so embaressing... awful peformance.

I really thought we'd put up a fight but it was shoddy :(

Liverpool usually underperform against lower league opposition, and Forest have finally started playing some half decent football.

I'm not saying pool aren't favourites, just that it might not be as easy as some fans think.

Didn't know about the propensity for televised capitulation though.

And they're obviously not through, didn't know it was tonight.
