I honestly can't see why he thought to bring back Gerrard after he's been injured and Aquilani has been getting better.

What is the point playing hoofball to Kuyt who isn't the talltest or greatest header of the ball. Pointless game. Waste of my time sitting here watching the game, been a waste of my time most of the season.
 
Think it was clear today that Rafa went to Wolves with no intention of winning. He failed when we needed him to make choices. Some areas of the team needed changing and he completely messed up.

Highlight of the game = taking Riera off, our best attacking threat.

Disgusting. I didn't think we could get any worse but that performance tops all. Woeful in every respect with not an ounce of merit.
 
Horrible horrible performance. We've had some bad performances this season but I can't remember the last time we offered literally nothing going forward.
 
Whats more worry the fact we are so inconsistent and that rafa cant make a good player choice for toffee is that our run up of games doesnt look good either, We shortly have arsenal who if we perform like that will tear us to pieces.

After the effort the players put in the last 2 games words fail me after watching that performance, playing a team 4th from bottom and he starts with just Kuyt upfront.
 
Very average display from us, but good to see we have players back from injury (and AJ back into another injury). Dikgacoi looks pretty good though.

I would go as far to say that we have played better and lost. Got to admit that we were truthfully woeful tonight. :mad:
 
Sounds like another woefully toothless performance from Liverpool tonight; I barely registered that we were playing such were the lack of "highlights" of our game on the BBC Live Text!
 
Why did we sell Whittingham to Cardiff, he's been nothing short of superb this season.

Obligatory LOL Liverpool, too.
 
Rio's denied the charge and will play tonight, could be a good move if we've got Vidic back for the Arsenal game even if it does cost Ferdinand 4 games

That can be the only reason for contesting it!

Thought Rio would contest the charge (said so a page ago) - and as long as Vidic is back for Arsenal on Sunday we shouldnt miss him too much

(even if it was a stupid thing to get done over for)

edit Im really looking forward to the game tonight - probably mostly because I feel Utd where done by the ref last week, and I guess Arsenal team/fans are feeling the same about Sunday after the OT game earlier in the season

Yeah I think that Arsenal were unlucky at OT and this time around we have Fabregas, but no RvP. Looking forward to it, it'll be a great challenge for both teams and with so much at stake, both teams will give it 100%. I think if Arsenal play well they'll win, but they always seem to play well vs. Man Utd and lose recently, seems as though the team are slightly more resiliant right now and have shown good character in loads of games this season

You didnt play well in either of Champions league encounters, and were lucky to only get destroyed, utterly, in your home leg.

Played well in the league games though.
