Fable 2

Are Bloodestone and Wraithmarsh big towns with shops. new people, houses to buy, new quests etc?

I really really hope so :)

Bloodstone has loads of places to buy, and things to do, Wraithmarsh is more or less empty, Westcliff becomes huge on your return as well.

Is its a bug with the bartender job that even if you have all the stars, say in 1 place and another job apperas in another area that says its 3-4 stars but doesnt give any gold estimate till promotion?

Finished my 3rd playthrough today for the achievement. Also managed to nab the property magnate, 50k renown and 2.5 mil real estate worth when playing as well. Once you reach a certain number of properties, you get way more cash than you can actually spend. I've not played in a few days and I started it up today to get 400k dumped on me :).

Not quite finished all the quests yet, but I think I've done all the ones which involve buying things (horray for chesty!). It seems stupid that some of the quests are still shown, like the sculptor one which is still there even though I have all the plinths filled. From what I can gather, I've got about 3 other quests to polish off and I'm done.

in the game dont they tell you twice if you go back you may not be able to do any current quests? There is only 1 quest in the game that that applys to. Pointless lol.

Is there anyway of getting rid of corruption, the gold glow eyes is ok but the flys buzzing about me are begining to annoy me, ive lowered the rent of some of my house in bowerstone to -100% and some busineess down to -20, -25% as thats meant to be an act of purity ( bar didnt even shift towards pure )

Think you'd have to do lots of Rescue the Slaves missions.

I love the game, really enjoyed playing it, but there just isn't enough depth there...lots of variation, but not much depth. I think they spent too much time on the "anyone can pick this game up and play it!" when they should have leaned a *little* more toward the regular gamers.

Too easy to complete all aspects, as mentioned. Game itself is too easy, people fall in love with you seconds after you say hello, properties are cheap and easy to buy, I maxxed out all my Skill abilities way before the end of the game, once I'd completed it I've pretty much bought all the Strength ones too.

And there was no real "crescendo" to the story...great voice acting (Fry especially, Wanamaker, Sawalha) but it just plodded along. It wasn't a bad story by any means, but there was no substance to it, nothing that made me want to see what happened next...

And the dog - very well implemented, but it had very little involvement in the whole game...just became another inventory 'tool' used for the odd mission. More quest involvement please.
Wife/Kids just became an irritant. It was amusing to pick a wife initially and bonk her into next week for a sprog, but after that you could just forget about her, especially as there were so many ready to take her place should the...erm, worst happen....

On the upside, I loved the graphics...watching the sun rise and stream through the trees in Oakvale was fantastic. Loved the jokes and the whole comedy aspects to the gameplay, some hilarious parts. Good variation in the areas, possibly needed a few more monster types.

In conclusion - very, very enjoyable game, but more depth please for Fable 3.

Dog = portable metal detector.

Right now I have a bug where I cannot complete one of the latter quests (retribution) after the main one, because my sodding wife has vanished. The game still says she is happy and is in Bowerstone but the cow is no where to be seen! My son is happily following me around though, useless trollop.

I'm on my second play through and I made this evil female and shes hot. I should have stared in Weird Science. :D I've also worked out how you get the furniture shop to actually sell furniture this time around which is handy. :)

Having completed the main part of the game, and having a missing bugged wife so I cannot finish the very last quest I am now bordering on going evil and slaughtering a town. I'm thinking of wiping out Bloodstone, therefore ruining its economy in the process and turning it into a ghost town.

I think they do yes, but the economy will be a mess so they'll be thugs to start off with I expect. I'll kill them too!

Well, I did the Spire last night and when I got back my game was screwed for about 5 minutes. People were invisible and my A button wasn't doing anything, I couldn't open any doors or interact with anything. I ended up leaving it and eventually it sorted itself out.

My son has a bloody annoying voice though. I might kill him once I have finished the main quest.

Good news for Fable 2 fans next couple of weeks:

1) Some sort of DLC (I am guessing)

Fable II: Upcoming Announcement
Normally, we don't like to tease too much. You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog. We've got some news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it's quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it's a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!

2) Benefits form Loading Fable 2 to HDD

Fable II

Install Size: 6.8GB

One of the few titles on this with tangible in-game benefits to HDD installs.
Fable II is a game so open and expansive, with so many different possibilities that we went back to basics with the measurements - restarting the game from scratch twice over, doing the same things and following the same basic quests to ensure that the measurements in loading times and general performance were like for like.

Boosts in data-streaming speeds moving from one environment to the next were not out of the ordinary as the results below show, but out of all the games tested here, Fable II did actually show some improvement in the game experience - seemingly minor, but very welcome nonetheless. For a game so clearly designed to be as easy and intuitive as possible, the inventory and skills page (brought up by pressing the start button) is surprisingly clunky and slow to respond. Playing from DVD, there does appear to be some lag as it streams data from the disc. For me it stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb in a game that is otherwise so effortlessly joyous to play, but thankfully the 'lag' is very noticeably reduced when the game is running
