How!!? I'm earning about a grand every 5 mins, with one four star and two 3 star business in a 3 star economy with +100% and still not earning much. (how do you improve a towns economy by the way? I buy everything i need in Bowerstone market and it's still only 3 stars)
Do one of the jobs there for a while, that helps too. Blacksmithing is pretty good money if you're good at it, with over 1,000 gold for each sword with 10x multiplyer eventually, but bartending is the easier money.
I found a version of my Master Repeater Crossbow with 2 augment slots, so I swapped 'em. Now that and my master katana are slotted with Golden touch and Luck charm, so I get 50 gold for a kill with either weapon and both do more damage with no downsides.

Having 100% is hurting the economy keep it at 0% or balance it out so that you got the good properties on +40% and the bad ones on like -40%.
The best job is the barmans job, you can easly earn 20-30k in 10 minutes once youve get promoted fully, which takes about 30-40 minutes to get fully premoted id say if you arnt making mistakes, and you shouldn't make to many as its bloody easy.
I dont know if its just me making excuses, although othesr have complained about it, but the blacksmith job has to much lag in it and at the higher end makes it really hard.
IF you want to do well at the blacksmith do it so you wait for 1 pass by and get it in the green spot on the second pass, yes it will be smaller but its easyer as it eliminates most lag which you get on the first pass.
Once youve got enough money buy the pub, if possible try and run the econmy down like your doing unintentially by putting 100% on houses, this makes the pub a lot cheaper and make sure he loves you!
But to point out i beleive that putting things on 100% makes people hate you quite a bit lol.
Intresting money glitch i found
ITs probably already been spoted, maybe it hasn't. But i dont have xbox live so i dont plug my xbox up to the internet but you dont get paid while the xbox is off if you dont have the internet updating your clock it seems.
Well id gone through quite a bit of fable already so i waas already earning about 5k every 5min. When i pluged my internet it, i got over 300k. I can only presume that it counted my hours of playing as offline, took the amount i was earning at the current state and used that to make up the amount of offline cash earned. SO i eanred a lot. Ever since ive been able to invest and do what ever i wanted. Not sure if its annoying or a blessing really. 300k is a lot of grinding for cash or waiting around as ive now doubled my amount i get every 5 min and my bank balance has now become almost impossibel to bottem eve when buying whole towns it seems lol. But i do want that castle

But you are going to need over 600 kills just to pay back the cost of 1 weapon, not includign the argumentation costs.
I dont really find 50 gold per kill to be that apertizing when i can go spend the money on a shop and make 300 every 5 min for that price. Which is 12 kills a minute and givse you money while your not fighting and while xbox not on. OF corse you could get even mroe then 300 if you buy the right shops or jack up the rent.

Guys, in your opinion, is this game worth £40 ??? or do you think i should wait until its like £25?

Now when I enter bowerstone the guards Attack me but I cant attack back, it wont let me hit them, I tried every social option so they would give me the opportunity to do community service or pay the fine but no luck, I've tried letting them knock me out a few times, but no luck, I've tried staying away from the town for about a month but still no luck.

my daughters favourite place is brightwood river or something like that and you cant take children out of bowerstone. Tahts just stupid lol.
Think id be inclinded to say no. Im currently borrowing the game and tbh, while its fun and all its way to short and way to easy. There is not a single chalanging moment i have come across. The only reason people play it is because it appeals to collectors etc, like getting all the houses and its just generally somethnig to pass the time doing the quests. Its got good moments, i actually found a demon door which actually made me laugh quite a bit in brightwood lol. But overall its not worth the reviews given to it i dont think.
Fable 2 is what fable 1 should have been. Its not something they should be so proud of in my opinion, they failed to deliever big time last time, this time they only delivered what they promised many years ago. If they would actually stop trying to make it so 3 year olds could play it and made it a proper game which chalanges, not nessarily combat but perhaps logic puzzels. Then sure it would be a lot more engading.
Having said all this i know damn well ill complete it more then once, but thats just the fable charm i gues. The fact you can play good or evil draws almost eveeryone to at least 1 more play through. But they screwed evil over this time i feel with the whole ooo look stealing is lucrative you can still 75 gold from a shop till!!! OMG bad ass or what gona be rolling in it in a few years... sigh.

Finished quest. Ending was anti-climatic and short (as I expected). Can't see myself playing it a 2nd time for the endings. Maybe just be evil in *** sandbox element.
In the end like all Peter Molyneux games, starts good, hasty ending, very little desire to replay.

I got all 3 ending achievements in one play through
How? I just had 1 choice of 3 at the end so I assume you have to play 3 times? (It saves straight after your choice automatically (I think). I picked the option on the left, without spoiling it.

Doesn't save straight away, gives you bout 3 minutes or so before autosaving.
Pick the card, receive the achievement, xbox guide button, back to dash, rinse and repeat

Ah!!! I can't recall how many achievement points my ending was (I assume all 3 are worth equal amounts), but I don't care enough to even play once more to bother getting the extras.
