Fable 2

Well i've put 12 hours into this and not a minute more, i really hope my next game Fallout 3 is nothing like this, as i hated just about every second of Fable 2...just can't find the will to finish it so its gonna be traded in :o

I kept waiting for that magic spark that tells me its a great game, it just never arrived.

The combat is easy and tedious, the story is weak, the setting i couldn't get into, hated the way when you initiate a chat, the whole town comes over and joins in, didn't like the purple/red silhouettes over everyone, all in all, to me it's a very geeky game, and a good enough reason to deny you play games to yer mates...

oh aye, the graphics were nice.

4/10...even worse than far cry 2.

I wouldnt say its awful but it is far to easy, just need to buy 3 more last lvl spells to be maxed out on everything, i think that the money from buildings and such is far to high as i have over a million and just kept buying the xp, will, str and skill pots from the alchemists, which he gets in everyday, theres nothing else to spend my money on i have most master weapons with the 2 augement slots, over 150 clothes, loads of dyes etc etc.

According to you gamer tag info you haven't even played Fable 2. :p

Got into that Demon Door in Oakfield, took the missus in, set it as martial home. Went away to the Spire for "a while", came back, was here in Oakfield for like 10 minutes, and my "Relationship Status" was on "Fine"... so I thought I'd pay her a visit, when I get there she was divorcing me :/

Just to top it off, the game must be bugged for that, so when I exited the Demon Door from the Homestead, it said in a box "Your wife has left you." then said "Due to your wifes death, your child has been taken away" or something to that affect, and I got +100 to Evil and -100 Renown :(

My wife divorced me on my first play though. I did two quest came back to check up on her and she divorced me. How am I suppose to play the game if I have to stay with the wife all the time?

Stop being tight!! If you give a household allowance of over 100 gold a day and visit her once a week there is no reason she should leave!! Find a new wife!!!

Is this game actually fun? I keep seeing all this talk of marriage and family, and I just think "what?". Sounds like the sims!

It's just that I am getting it for xmas pressie... and wondering if I made mistake. If it's fun, then cool, but marriage doesn't sound fun to me.

You don't have to get married, so just don't

The marriage aspect is a bit annoying, but you do get a kid out of it (and possibly 1 or 2 of the missions are dependent on it, can't recall exactly).

The Blue Veins (if you are like me and playing "good") show up on his neck and side of his face. If you remove his top they are all over his body and is actually a tattoo (fairly sure) that I applied. Think it glows more as you do "good" things. First I thought it was scars (which is implied are a penalty from some good weapons).

It's nothing to do with being good, you get the glowing blue veins from being a will user.

Maybe extremely cheeky but does anyone have all 6 dolls? I just need them for the achievement then will give them back. If anyone does and wants gold for them or anything that is cool. I just want to get a few for points before I trade in for CoD5 :)

GT is BenSayers :)
