Looks like I be visiting Apple tmr. My Face ID on my Xs Max won’t work. I’ve done reset I’ve even restore phone via itune etc. So looks like true dept camera broke

Sounds like a software issue most likely, I’ve had problems like that with finger print scanner I had to keep resetting the settings for it to work but seems as you’ve tried that must be the camera.

Yes it the camera or true dept according to apple as I had to test the front facing camera using the camera app and select portrait and it keep saying move further away this when apple says it faulty. I tried it on Mrs phone so I see the difference

Yeah go to an Apple store they’ll usually just swap out your phone providing it’s a hardware issue, just make sure you’ve got your data backed up.
