In my opinion face recognition in shops shouldnt be allowed they become judge and jury espically if police already been involved and even police say nothing wrong and you get put on risk list or worse by shop manager. They can become incorect or even share your data with about you to other shops what got the same software. Imagine later on when digital id comes in and you just been accused and its on that system you would no doubt be black listed from the shop which every shop owner would know but with out knowing full story. It just getting a bit scary out there. Before long too it will tie into online shopping etc and be black listed for going online if your credit score gets too low.

I was at my local shopping centre and had a sneezing attack... went into Home Bargains and picked up a single pack of travel tissues and went to the till.
They told me that they don't sell travel tissues singly, I said, well there's a load of them on the self that I picked it up from.. it's not like I opened a multi pack...

They said sorry and refused to sell it me.. :(

Sad times... my eyes were watering and I was full of snort... luckily there was a public toliet next to the shop, never noticed it before, but I went in an got some bog roll and blew my noise then all was well..

Nothing to do with the opening post, but I thought it was a far more intreasting story...

I don’t think commercial companies should be allowed. If there’s a prosecution then the police should be able to analyse. However for commercial reasons I don’t think it would be allowed.
 
I hate it when the shops become judge and jury, just last week I forgot to scan a pack of Pepperamis and had a three week long trial in the old cigarette counter :(

Nothing just dont think it should be allowed. But i do no someone got wrongly banned from a pub watch which do have face regonition in local town pubs and it sends notification to who ever on. It was a big deal in our area at time and not so long ago. Most of the time you dont even know your on it even if you are.

Look at the company facewatch which is at a lot of shopping places like super markets etc which do this kind of thing. It even says once on it the watch list there is nothing you can do or the police can do. It just another level of surveillance and companies taking law into there own hands.

He had some interesting posts in the main Covid one, Bird Flu and the UFO Pentagon one.
Says some outlandish things but offers no proof if I remember correctly then has a go at everybody for asking.
