Wonder how it works if everyone starts wearing masks for health reasons...

E: If they really want a useful system they should base it on gait.

They probably test it during such time and try and update the software so it even recognize with face coverings with each update and test.

They wont have a problem with me though as i dont even wear a mask just my tin foil hat to bounce the infrared signal and to scatter the signal.

It's not even reliable for when people aren't wearing masks.

IIRC after one of the recent attempts to use it in london it turned out to have a false positive rate somewhere around 10% or more on average with a higher number affecting certain groups. That is for the latest version of the software and hardware.

10% is probably too high, but it's lower than I'd have expected. No if we had a Legal requirement for Digital ID it would make it easier to prove you aren't the suspected person... which I suspect is inevitable in the future sadly.

Fortunately for me, most shops don't have the storage capacity to save the footage as it's so huge.

It’s ok people… it’s a well known fact that lemon juice when used on the face makes you invisible to security cameras.

I would suggest that the OP gets a load of lemons as most of the bottle lemon juices ain’t high enough in concentration for it to work.
