Facebook and the forum

Just had a nose at Firefox extensions and this looks handy:

Firefox Multi-Account Containers

As well as Firefox's in-built private browsing, the above can run multiple sessions inside of the browser. They used their main example of separating work-related from non work-related. If social media was ring-fenced inside of one sessions, the rest of the browsing could be in the other session?
Install ghoestry, then you can just easily block tracking and see what it's blocking etc.

Facebook is like a ******* virus. It's everywhere, infecting nearly every website you visit. Even if it's not blatantly obvious and visible, it's still there lurking about in the background.

There was a number of people wanting to integrate it before the forum had integrated. I don’t think integration with Facebook is required anywhere it’s just a pain in the rear!

I believe it was more a case of the owners wanted to push more social media to grow the business outside the normal circle of enthusiasts (who are generally against social media), and was an easy addition with the new forum software.

I must admit I'd never seen that button. But I don't trust Facebook so I'd be happy if it were removed... along with the Twitter and Google+ buttons.
