Facebook contact numbers and android :(

Ok so basically all the contacts in my phone have automaticly synced with facebook and over written what ever was there. This is good in most places but some really stupid people put the wrong format number into the fb profile.

like not putting +44 and instead using 44. I can not edit these contacts as facebook contacts are un editable. I could just switch off facebook sync for contacts but then i would lose a lot of important numbers and email addresses that do work.

So basically is there a way to edit the contact info for facebook contacts?
 
I would also like to know this! My girlfriend has even edited her phone number from 44 to +44 on facebook but the sync has still got it as 44 and uses it as her main number without me asking it to...
 
This is actually a big problem with Android.

When I last had my Desire set up a few weeks ago I had to actually disable the facebook integration as there was no fix for this.

I'm not sure if there is now either.

Its bloody annoying I know.
 
I just create another live folder widget for facebook numbers. So 2 separate address books. One normal android, and another using the live folder widget.

Yes, a live folder doesn't integrate with the address book and so its a bit of a hassle if you want all your information in one place, but its better than nothing.
 
ahhh so thats why some of my contact numbers are messed up. I think i just fixed it by creating a new mobile number for that contact and then setting it as the primary. Shall see how that goes.
